FAQ
-
How do you test your soap? All of our soap is made with the best ingredients that we can find. After the curing process close friend and family use the soap. We recommend always reading the ingredients just to make sure you do not have any sensitivities to the ingredients.

Why do you use polyester thread in the towels and napkins? We know that cotton thread would be so much better from a sustainable and compostable point of view. However, polyester thread is much stronger than cotton thread. I am testing different cotton threads to see if we can use it in our textiles. For now polyester thread it is!

What do you do with all of your fabric scraps? We usually do not have many scraps based on the dimensions we use for our textiles. However, left overs still happen. We try to repurpose them when able. However, if repurposing them is not possible we recycle them thru several different recycling programs. Sometimes we also place the scraps in our compost bin since they are 100% cotton.

Do you use synthetic chemicals on your flowers? The goal is always to have strong plants and healthy soil. We lay compost and organic fertilizer before planting and feed our plants with a fish/worm casting based foliar food weekly. Pests can still be a problem from time to time. If needed, we use all natural pest deterrents. like soap sprays.... and our fingers.
